Chapter 10 Blog Presentation by Sebastian Nieves
In chapter 10 we talked mainly about how to be leaders and how to be clear referents in a meeting. A leader can be created in different ways; from knowing how to control the flow of the meeting from the beginning to the end.
In particular, I had to talk about guidelines for meeting leaders, for me it was a very curious topic to talk about. To be a good leader and be able to lead a meeting there are certain points that should be followed within one; The before, during, and after a meeting are just as important as when one develops qualities to be a leader. Being able to follow a well-organized meeting sets you apart from other people when it comes to being a leader.
As we discussed the day of the presentation, the before a meeting is as important as the during or after the meeting. The different topics that must be carried are not so complicated and they are truly manageable, a leader must be able to know how to handle what happens in the meeting, as well as control the time and know what it is about and the respective topics of which they have to talk.

In general, I quite liked the topic that our group had to present about. Knowing how to create a leader, how to be one, and the different parts that must be followed during a meeting is very interesting. A leader not only guides the people who are around him, but also plays the role of knowing and having everything under control so that other people do not get disappointed or give up. A leader is not only a person who guides others but also a person who encourages others to constantly improve.
Other subjects such as intercultural communication perform more in other subjects such as communication between different cultures; An example of this are the different cultures that coexist in Miami, in Miami there is so much cultural diversity that the communication of different cultures happens daily and it is important to know how to act and speak when this happens. Both communication and leadership have important points that must be addressed, communication makes the person and the experience a leader.
Communication in groups is a way which gives several advantages as to the leader of the group and to the people that make up the group, communication between the different people that make up the group is essential for a presentation or a meeting to be carried out successfully . Being well communicated and expressing all kinds of different opinions makes a group perfect, not only listening but also giving an opinion on what each one has to say is important for the presentation to be a success.
