           This past week my speech class presented three different chapters in groups. I was very fortunate to be a part of group three where we not only worked on chapter 10, but also used many of the methods from the chapter. Every single person in my group was a key factor in the presentation. We all had our part into the presentation and implemented the new information we learned from our chapter and our creativity. Due to the pandemic we're currently going through, our presentation was a bit different from the usual speech presentation. For our presentation we used Remote Access Report ( RAR) to input the information we learned to be able to teach it to the class while being in our own homes. We used sites like google slides to all work on one PowerPoint together while being in completely different places and without ever having to meet in person. We also used Collaborate Meeting to stream our presentation to the class from the comfort of our homes. 

    When we all first began working together, from the beginning there was a leadership role picked to officially have someone have the group organized and to lead us all in the right direction. After this, we were assigned a chapter and everyone's roles in the group were assigned. Not only did we all have roles assigned but we all got to socialize and help one another out throughout the process of creating the presentation. All aspects of team work that s taught in this chapter were used and made our team work efficient and smooth. However, some methods were not used due to the pandemic. For example, all the methods involving us being in front of a crowd and speaking to them were slightly altered. Instead of showing up to a place and presenting this in front of a crowd, we presented this project through a group call to a crowd. 

    All three groups has informative and very creative presentations. All the methods that we all talked about to improve team work and public speaking were used and made all three presentations run accordingly. Even though we did not get to present in person, we all still did a great job presenting and explaining the topics as if we were in person. This was an interesting way of teaching a lesson.  We applied what we learned as we learned it and due to us having to teach the subjects, we paid more attention to the lesson and understood the lesson on a different level.

    In this presentation, visuals were very important to explain and visually show others the information we tried to get across. As a result of presenting through a computer, some people can get bored easily and not learn any of the concepts needed in the class. This is why the visuals were so important. Good visuals can keep people from drifting off and keep them interested in what you have to say.

        After experiencing a group that works together to succeed I am very excited to see what's next to come from this class and to learn new things that will improve our public speaking. Non of us knew each other before this class and somehow we all came together and worked together as if we have been working on presentations together for years. We came together as a team and helped each other and worked together.
